Wonderful Wednesday will begin September 15! - The Christian Education Committee has been working diligently with Wonderful Wednesday leaders to plan this fall's program. Watch for details in the September Crossroads. Please inform a member of the CEC or our Youth Coordinator if you feel God's call to help with the many ministries offered in the Wonderful Wednesday package:
- Children's choirs and chimes
- Children's activities:
  - preschool
  - K-3rd grade
  - 4th - 6th grade
- Adult Bible Study
- Meals
- Confirmation class
- Senior High Youth
If there is another Ministry you may feel gifted and called to offer, please contact Pastor donna or someone on the CEC.

Summer Sunday School - Begins in August! Come join our One-room Sunday School for fun activities. Preschool through 3rd Grade, with additional activities for 4th - 6th grade.

Hero Quest: Esther

August 1, August 8, and August 15 (No Sunday School August 22.) Rally Day is August 22.

Come and learn about a real live hero from the Bible: Esther. We need Adult and Youth volunteers for each of the three classes. We also need a coordinator for the August Summer Sunday School.

Children's Bazaar - UM Women are starting to think about the Children's Bazaar to be held in December. If you would like to help, there will be kits with supplies and instructions available in the Gathering Area that can be taken home and assembled for the bazaar or during the summer. Also, work days will be scheduled to make items to sell. Contact Donna Eudaley (289-5025) or Janalee Keppy (285-4123) for any questions or your interests in these activities. Watch for more details.
Soup Supper & Auction - The Fundraising Committee will be sponsoring a soup supper and auction in September. We are in the process of soliciting donations of items for the auction. If you are aware of any business/store that would possibly donate a service or item, please let one of the committee members (Joyce Gay, Laurie Edge, Donna Eudaley) know. Or, if you are interested in helping with the donation requests, please contact a committee member. Donation requests letters are available. All volunteers will be accepted.

We are accepting donations of any type, including any services/items our own church family would like to donate, i.e., 1 decorated cake for any occasion: 1 homemade item (pie, cake, cookies) each month for 6 months/12 months; baked items; lawn service; fishing trips; cleaning services; pastoral services; car wash; baby sitting; printing services; crafts; homemade items; or purchased items you would like to donate; etc. If you have an idea, let us know! Profits will go the the general budget.

Children's Church - First service Children's Church will resume in the fall. Second service Children's Church is held on the second Sunday of the month. Children's Church is a special service just for kids, age 6 and older. Parents, plan to attend during the above services to enjoy adult worship as your kids enjoy this great time with Bible songs and stories in a workshop service designed just for kids! Send your children, after the visit with the children. We invite all kids Kindergarten and up to join us in the Music Room after Children's Moments for a wonderful time of sharing and learning about God's Word.
Moms of School Aged Kids - A night of fun, friends and time away from the busyness of being mom. We will meet the 3rd Monday of each month. This is an informal get together, time to exchange ideas, share news and have a "girls night out". Everyone is welcome, even if your kids are grown.
